Alyona Verkhola

Member of the World Wide Pressed Flower Guild since 2009.

Member of the Russian Creative Union of Decorative and Applied Arts Artists;

Title "People’s Master" of the Lugansk People’s Republic.

Since 2006, she has been creating artworks using natural materials—leaves, flowers, bark, and plant fluff.

Since 2010, she has conducted annual online masterclasses for members of the WWPFG.

Winner and prize-recipient of international competitions in Russia, the USA, Japan, and South Korea.

Actively promotes the aforementioned art form. Runs an online community of Russian-speaking artisans and writes articles for newspapers and magazines.

Authored several books on creativity for both adults and children.

Her works are in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, the UK, Finland, Italy, Turkey, and Denmark. Several pieces are housed in the Oshibana Museum in Yokohama, Japan.

2024

Korea: First Prize at the international competition "The 23rd Korea Pressed Flower Contest."

Moscow, China Cultural Center at the Chinese Embassy: Exhibition "China through the Eyes of Russian Artists."

Tula, speaker at the Flat Floristry Masters Congress.

2025

Moscow, "Unique Russia": Second place in the "Unique Masters of Russia" competition.

Korea: Third Prize at the international competition "The 24th Korea Pressed Flower Contest."
