In this class we will learn the basics of traditional marbling techniques on paper.  We will treat the surface of the paper so our designs will not wash off, treat the water so the paints will float, and treat the paints so they will disperse on the surface of the water.  We will try making various designs by moving the paint around the surface of the water. The finished papers can be used as backgrounds for pressed flower creations.
