I offer gratitude to the land on which the City of Guelph is situated and the Indigenous ancestors who resided here for centuries. I recognize that Guelph is located on the Haldimand Tract and I offer gratitude to the First Nations of the Attawandaron, Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee ancestors. I offer respect to the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples who now call Guelph home and acknowledge my responsibility to the generations yet to come.
